I normally wear US M for shirts, but I also own a coat that is S and I still wear it fine. My measurements are:
Chest: 44
Shoulder: 43
What size should I get?

Hello!
Thanks for asking. Given your height and weight (if accurate), our size US L in our shop will fit on you well. This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular). It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies.
But, it works most of the time for our customers.
Here is general size info.
-US S (M) size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M (L) size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L (XL) size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL (2XL)size = ~6'1", 195 lbs
