A warning to people in the UK |
|
I bought about $440 worth of clothing a few weeks ago (about 300 Pounds), unfortunately, TheLeesShop decided to forget to add the invoice to the parcel, so instead of getting bounced with 20% tax, as was expected, customs have thrown a 220 pound tax charge on my parcel as they've over valued each item and there's no way for me to receive the package unless I pay up.
As one can imagine, I'm particularly annoyed about this and so wish to warn everyone to make sure the website attaches the invoice to any parcel, because though the clothing is cheap in Korea, if you add over 50% tax onto it, the clothes become rather over priced.

hi ~
thanks for the message.
I am sorry for the taxes imposes by your local government.
I already contacted you through Email, about the invoice, I already sent it to you, so that you contact the local post office, you are not the only person who has that problem, but we manage to fix this by reimbursing 50% of the tax even the buyer should be the one to shoulder it.
But then the damage has been done, wishing you luck.
Thanks and Regards,
Jhen |
