Sizing for a relatively unique body type |

I am 5'8.5 and weigh 170 pounds. I bought the three toned double zipper hoodie ( http://theleesshop.com/shop/step1.php?number=16978 )in a large which fit perfectly. I have a muscular but slim build and in american stores, American eagle for example I buy button ups in a size small.
For my body type I was wondering which would be a good slim fit for button ups since normally the same sizes for jackets and button ups do not fit me the same.
Should I get this websites large (american medium) or medium (american small) button up seeing as how I like tight form fitting clothes which show off my physique ?

I have pretty large arms and a large chest (larger than most non obese men) but a slim waist and stomach, this is what makes my body type relatively unique |

Also my upper body is pretty short so this is why smalls in America work well for me |

Hello!
Given your weight, our US L will fit on you, but it might be too long for you because your height suggests us a smaller sz which is US M.This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular). It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies, but it works most of the time.
Here is general size info.
-US S size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL size = ~6'1", 195 lbs
I would just like to let you know that my suggestion was only based from the standard size chart that we are using. You should note that as body size differs from person to person our suggestions has a possibility to be incorrect. However we do advise our buyers to look at the measurements for shoulder chest and sleeve for further reference. If you wouldn't mind can you check those measurements to ensure the right fitting for you?
I think it would be better if I leave the decision to you.

Thank you very much, I think I'm going to try the US M just because I vastly dislike when clothing is too long. Thank you very much, I will place my order soon and tell you how it works out! |
