I recently bought the LCJ4-Grey with what appeared to be pockets on the front when in reality, they were just flaps. Are there pockets where the zippers are, or are they just for appearance? Also, what size would I buy as a 6'6" 180lbs man?

I am sorry but that is really not a pocket but only a design, so sorry that it confused you.
For the weight I can say that you are needing US L, but I am just worried about your height that even my US XL will be too short for you and we are not offering bigger sizes than that.
.This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular). It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies, but it works most of the time.
Here is general size info.
-US S size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL size = ~6'1", 195 lbs
I think it would be better if I leave the decision to you.
