I am 6' 5" tall and about 180 lbs. Would blazer 54 (US L), Trousers 36 (US 34), vest 52 (US M) work well enough? Especially with a slim fit style I am worried it will just be too small. Please advise.

Given the weight, I can say that our US XL can ift you but for the height, It seems that you need a bigger sz than our US XL, our items might be too short for you.
This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular). It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies, but it works most of the time.
Here is general size info.
-US S size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL size = ~6'1", 195 lbs
I think it would be better if I leave the decision to you.
