I'm a 5'4" male and I usually weigh around 140 pounds. Is it safe to say that most of the hoodies and suits I might get should be a size small?

Hi there!
thanks for asking, knowing your weight I can say that you can take our US S, but seeing that you are only 5'4, I think our US S will be too long for you, since our US S fits only a height of 5'7.
This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular). It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies, but it works most of the time.
Here is general size info.
-US S (M) size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M (L) size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L (XL) size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL (2XL)size = ~6'1", 195 lbs
I think it would be better if I leave the decision to you.
