I was wondering what size to get in this jacket I'm about 5'7 140lbs with a muscular build. Would that be a size M (US small)

Thanks for asking. Given your height and weight (if accurate), our size US S in my shop will fit on you well. This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular). It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies.
But, it works most of the time for our customers.

-US S (M) size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M (L) size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L (XL) size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL (2XL)size = ~6'1", 195 lbs
I think it would be better if I leave the decision to you.
