After being very impressed with the last pair of shoes that I ordered, I decided to grab another type in a different style. These shoes are possibly one of the best I've ever owned.
Firstly, the shoes show no scuff marks or wear of any kind after around a month of wearing them constantly in the snow (these pictures were taken exactly a month after receiving the shoes) I am truly impressed with their durability.
The bottoms of the shoe are made of an incredible hard-rubber material similar to what you would find on a pair of work-boots. They are heavy duty and extremely resistant to everything I've put them through (snow, mud, mountain climbing, to name a few)
Despite this heavy duty base, the shoes are not difficult to walk in and they do not give the appearance of the "worn down" look you would expect to find on a pair of work-boots. These shoes manage to portray a refined and delicate look while being extremely durable and a true workhorse of a shoe.
I own a pair of Sperry's (a $90+ boat shoe available in the US) and once again the shoes from TheLees are more comfortable, more durable, while being priced at a fraction of the cost. These shoes also have the hard-rubber base which makes them very versatile as well. I could not be happier. As for me, I will likely purchase all of my new shoes through TheLees. Their work is truly impressive!
If you are looking for a shoe that looks very refined but is still able to withstand heavy work and harsh conditions, I recommend you give these a try. You won't be disappointed.
