Hello I just wanted to verify that the shoulder length for this jacket is 18.5in for a medium. I just wanted to be 100% sure since it seems that different jackets and coats come with different measurements for their sizes.

Yes you are right, the sz for the shoulder for this item US S(M) is 18.5 inches, that was measured across from the arm seams.
