These pants fit great, and are very comfortable at the waistline. I can only describe the waistline as perfect. They are not restricting, yet provide a secure feel without wearing a belt. The belt is just for show with these pants. However, they were a little lighter than I expected, and not for the brisk colder temps. I will be purchasing a couple more pairs of these
