Thanks for the message.

I am sorry for making you confused, we measure the item by placing it flat and relax on the floor.

I attached a picture to give you an idea. SO for example I have 50 cm measurement for the CHEST

you will have to double it so it will give you 100cm as the total.

I hope that makes it clear.

1   your clothing description says "chest 49 cm", mines is 47 cm, why would i have to double that?
