In regards with the pants, we usually suggest the size based on the waist of the buyer.
So for example you are size 32, I suggest that you get the same size.
But we suggest to take a look of their measurement especially the length of the item
and other measurements to avoid any problem in fitting.
Also, washing the pants will not make it shrink.
In regards with your last question, I suggest to scroll your cursor all over the picture of the item in Preview.
In that, you will be able to see the features of the item as well as how it's color looks like :)
