Hi,
I'm a 71kg, 179cm male. I was wondering which size you would recommend for me. Also, is the sweatshirt pre-shrunk? Or will the cotton shrink the first time I wash it? (If it will shrink the first time, I assume I should definitely get US L)

Thank you for the message.
Given your height and weight, I think the LARGE(US Medium) size of the item will fit you
as it covers a person that is 5'9 in height and weighs 155 lbs.
It might be a bit long for you but it will fit your body.
This is based on general size chart we are using in our shop for normal body built (not fat or muscular).
It does not guarantee 100% free of size discrepancy, as body built varies.
But, it works most of the time for our customers.
Here is our general size info.
-US S size = ~5'7", 135 lbs
-US M size = ~5'9", 155 lbs
-US L size = ~5'11", 175 lbs
-US XL size = ~6'1", 195 lbs

Just please be guided that measurements are done in cross section. (measuring across from one side to the other/ not the circumference)
Also, all of our items are pre-shrunk, however it might still shrunk a little.
But to avoid shrinking of the item, please prefer washing it with a cold water.
